Christmas Display

Three years ago when we moved back to Ridgewood, on a whim I decided to decorate the front of the house. That first year I almost fell off a ladder, with the only witness being a sleeping Little Guy in his car seat.

Then over the next couple of years I got more lights and planned it out better. This culminated with me using two mild days to set up this year's light display.

I'm not a huge fan of the holidays. But I really like putting up the lights and seeing how much my kids enjoy the display. Tonight when Mrs. GMIBP got home from work we all went outside despite the rain to turn the lights on for the first time as a family. Our children's little smiles and the lights twinkling in their eyes make it all worth it.
