Halloween

When your kids are very little the holidays really mean nothing up them. But at some point they will understand and there had never been a bigger day. This year Nugget is out of her head crazy for Halloween.

So our little wicked witch points out all of the "Halloween houses" we see when we drive around and the little girl who hates candy can not wait to get piles of candy. Which she will not eat. I'll probably have to bite the bullet and help out with the candy. Oh the sacrifices a dad must make.

So the big day finally is here. Our little witch was joined by Red-5 (Belushi), a dragon (baby bacon) and a butterfly ( nickname to be finalized ... I'm thinking Tammy, short for Tamarind) on the great hunt for candy. We hit a bunch of big streets and our buckets overfilled with goodies. Luckily the weather cooperated and a good time was had by all.

Halloween isn't about young women dressed as sexy red riding hood( not that there is anything wrong with that), it's about little children dressed in cute outfits and their patents getting upset stomachs from eating candy.

I like to think sexy red riding hood and children can share this special day. I must admit, I haven't been this excited about Halloween in a long time. Kids make the holidays awesome.
