Astoria Park Pool

I had never been to a public pool before today, but I will 100% be going back. Ani went to a bridal shower for her soon to be sister-in-law at Astoria Park. It was a wonderful day, and I took it as an opportunity to take Olivia swimming (really just splashing).

The pool was massive, but it was cordoned off by depth and was really well supervised by life guards. I was pretty sure she would freak out, but she was really excited to play in the water. She splashed but wouldn't put her head under the water, maybe next time. We spent a good hour in the water before it closed for cleaning.

Here are tips for going to the Astoria Park pool.

- Bring a lock

- The first session is 11:00 am till about 2:45. Then they re-open at 4:00pm till 7:00.

- Don't bring food or drinks they will not allow you in with them.
