I started it late last summer, so I didn't make it all the way through. I want to start it backup again this spring so I can make it through the entire 9 weeks. It looks easy on paper, but it get pretty tough. I think I made it to phase 4 last summer before I stopped. There were a few phases that I repeated for 2 weeks because I just couldn't advance to the next step.
I think I might end up repeating stages too, but the 2nd workout went well today.
No treadmills for me, Mandy and I are doing it at this little park right behind the school field across the street. As we move into later phases, I'm hoping to take the jogs a little further from home.
But yeah, at my current of fitness, it is fuckin' tough.
BTW - we're signing up for a 20 mile charity walk in NYC that if the doodle sticks to schedule will be a week or so after arrival.
There's actually a Thanksgiving Day 5K down here in Centerville I believe (about midpoint between my place and Mikes). If you guys come down to the area next Thanksgiving the three of us should look into running in it. I was going to run in it this past year, but since Rachel's due date was so close, I opted not to.
Here's the link to last years event. Not sure when they will update it for the 2008 event. I'm guessing late summer/early autumn. The nice thing is that it's family friendly so the wives/kids/ could walk and participate as well.

What is weird was the running portions went faster, since I spent the first few seconds making sure I wasn't going to fall off the treadmill.

I'm in Centreville all the time, one of our good friends lives out there. If we do TDay down here again, I might be down for that.
