When I made a comment earlier about what is essentially a flat tax I learned a lot about this blog. In the end everything comes back to how I hate the Yankees.
And back to the flat tax. My ten percent across the board tax helps the economy twice. First there is the influx of tax revenues coming in from those over paid Yankees and the non millionaires will now be getting bigger pay checks which they can spend and bolster the economy.
But poor starving Jason Giambi will miss that $2 million that uncle sam will now get. Do you know how many tribal tattoos that could buy?
Some may say that this is the biggest tax increase in the history of the US, the way I see it, it is the biggest tax cut. Since the vast majority of Americans will have their tax burden reduced.
But Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrera want to buy 90 foot yachts! Well they may have to do what the rest of us do, save a little, buy one pair of shoes made out of African Elephant hide instead of twenty five pairs.

You still haven't gotten past that 2000 World Series geesh. Let it go :-).
And as I pointed out earlier, how much do Joanne Santana and Pedro "cock fighter" Martinez make? Do they work for free? And lastly, Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrerra only made like $400,000 each last year, barely above the league minimum.
Are you trying to deflect everyone away from the story about Pedro attending cock fights? And what's up with Pedro and his Jeri curl?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Joba Chamberlain remains a starter and healthy, he will have more wins that your new "ace" Joanne. $5.00 bet on it? Lets say that if Joanne and Joba each have at least 21 starts.
That world series hurt :) I still haven't worn my 2000 NL champ shirts.
Yeah what is up with Juan Marichal dragging Pedro to cock fighting. But honestly they treat chickens better at cock fights than at KFC's plants.
Didn't Cano sign a new contract today. ;)
And if Joba becomes a starter I'll take that bet.

As far as I know, the plan was to make Joba a starter in 2008. That's what Torre wanted to do anyway, not sure what Gerardi will do.
